What is it you love; Morgan Freeman’s gravitas? Lady Gaga’s self-expression? Is it your best friend’s integrity, or your colleague’s sense of humour?
All of these things that you see in others which touch you deeply are things which you already are, but which you have denied to yourself in order to get by in life where other(s) would not have allowed you to show them. As we do this, we project these qualities on to other people.
We can reclaim these characteristics or physical capacities – presuming it is now safe to do so – simply by recognising them in ourselves.
